Free: Infant Storytime & Book

Hug-A-By Baby is a Story time designed specifically for 2month olds-12 months old (they let you fudge a bit on the upper age limit)

Typical storytime: welcome/introductions (librarians like to specifically acknowledge returning mamas and babies personally), good morning song, story , activity (such as baby-sized maracas or peek a boo with see through scarves), active time (rock a bye baby with mamas standing and rocking babies, or ring around the rosie with mamas dancing with babies in a circle), goodbye song, interaction time (librarian puts a bunch of toys in the center and lets babies play together while mamas talk or play with babies and each other), gift time (usually a board book or plastic -waterproof type- book), end

HIGHLY recommended!

We attend the one at Haskett Library in West Anaheim (near Orange/Beach) on Wednesdays at 10:30 am. I also know of one in East Anaheim (near the 91/55). Lark really likes it :)

Disneyland

Tomorrow I'm getting a Disneyland pass. Costco has an awesome deal for the Deluxe pass (which costs 269$ everyday at the park) where if you pay 269$ you also get a 50$ Disneybuck card. Being that tomorrow is my birthday, and Disneyland is offering a free day admission for your bday ( http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyparks/en_US/WhatWillYouCelebrate/disneyland/index?name=CelebrationsDLRFreeOnYourBirthdayPage ) I'm going to go, get my pass, then take the extra Disneybucks and upgrade to the Premium pass :)
I highly reccommend getting at least a SOCal Disneypass for any mama. It stimulates kiddos, tired them out, and gives mama some much needed free playdate space and adult face time.

I'll keep track of things as they occur to me/as we do them.
