Park Reviews: Liberty Park, Cerritos

Liberty Park offers both an indoor and outdoor play area .

The indoor area is free of charge and features a room designed for use by all ages. Books cover the upper shelves and toys bins dominate the bottom shelves, both hardbacked and board books. There are two kid-friendly computers and a large TV (out of reach of toddlers), a play kitchen/dress up space, and a cubby area and a puppet theatre. There are a few padded benches for Mamas to lounge upon, but most tend to sit on the floor. The room is locked when not in use and somewhat monitored by the Cerritos Park Staff.

The outdoor area has multiple swing sets both the traditional and bucket variety (plus a pregnancy/disabled child swing!) multiple climb-upons and slides galore. the entire area has set in a rubber/foam-ish safety flooring and some areas of the playground have sunshades above. There are also special summertime water play areas.

Around the playground there is a track (for running/jogging/walking with baby in a stroller or sling) a large grassy field (for older kids to flail their wiggles out), BBQ/picnic benches (by reservation) and a few assorted tennis courts, badmiton courts, and baseball fields.

Final Rating: 4 Stars - for having multiple areas/attractions and the accessibility during any weather
